Netflix has disclosed that the sequel to the 2020 mystery-drama starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill has wrapped filming.
With footage posted on Twitter from the set featuring Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge, Netflix has revealed that filming has now been completed on the upcoming sequel. That's a wrap on Enola Holmes 2. This follows a previous report that Henry Cavill had concluded his scenes as big brother Sherlock, and now, for all the new and old cast members, filming is done and dusted.
The message posted by Netflix Geeked reads: "The sequel to Enola Holmes has officially wrapped! Until it arrives on Netflix, enjoy this first clue to Enola's next great adventure…"
In the video, Louis Partridge completes his final scene as Tewkesbury before sharing a hug with Brown, who is also reprising her role as Enola. Other returning stars from the first Enola Holmes include Cavill as Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as the family matriarch Eudora. Those rounding out the cast are David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.

The original film was written by Jack Thorne and directed by Harry Bradbeer. It was a tremendous hit for Netflix, drawing viewers from 76 million households within its first month of release. It was such a success that the critics and many fans clamoured there must be another cause for the young and intelligent detective to solve. Netflix listened, and the result was immediate production. If this sequel outperforms its original, we might be looking at an Enola Holmes trilogy in order.
Enola Holmes 2 is yet to have an official release date, though it's expected to arrive on Netflix sometime in 2022. Meanwhile, the original Enola Holmes is available to stream on Netflix.
