12 nominations for The Delivery boy!! And it’s barely a week after we got a mail from the Nigerian oscars selection committee saying our film was being considered. 🙏 I was trying to post all the nominations but apparently our nominations exceeded Instagram’s limits. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Thank you to AMAA for the recognition. I feel especially proud of the actors and the TEFT (The Elite Film Team) members who put their all into making this film possible. And all you background superheroes who have supported by writing, reposting, commenting or even just talking about “The Delivery Boy” (and our work generally) I can’t thank you enough for spreading the word! 🙏 Special thanks to the film festivals around the globe who thought us special enough to be selected 🙏🙏🙏. Of course there isn’t enough space to mention everyone who supported here but thank you all! Be rest assured we are working harder on the next project! #thedeliveryboyfilm #nodash #adekunleadejuyigbe #theelitefilmteam #somethingunusualstudios @somethingunusualstudios @jammalibrahim @jemimaosunde @charlesetubiebi @chukwukajude @chrisiheuwa @kehindefasuyi @trevornoah @africanfilmfest @lcafilmfest @afriff @nollywoodweek @nollywoodtravelfestival @durbaninternationalfilmfest @jagranfilmfestival @realtimefilmfestival @tvcnewsng @thisispopcentral @nigeziextreme @kwamenaija @silverbirdfilmdistribution @filmoneng @netflix @amcchannels @channelstelevision

'The Delivery Boy’ tells the story of Amir, a teenage orphan boy, who runs into a young girl while trying to escape a mob. She is a prostitute with an agenda and he has a bomb vest under his dress. They are both running out of time and they soon realise they need each other to achieve their goals.

Before the night ends, they will have to contend with each other, Amir’s group, the knowledge of the terrible secrets that made them who they are, and the consequences of living in a society that doesn’t care. Their journey takes them through the underbelly of the city exposing the hidden backside of the African Society and its dangerous culture of silence in the presence of evil.
