
Khabib Nurmagomedov is in Nigeria to make clean water more available to citizens of the country.
UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is in Nigeria on a charity mission building wells.
The Russian star who defeated Conor McGregor in the fourth round of the UFC 229, and has since been suspended due to the actions for attacking his opponent's coach Dillon Danis.
Khabib has however been on a break and been linked with a possible boxing fight with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The UFC star’s manager Ali Abdelaziz earlier stated that his client Khabib will be in Nigeria visiting but there were no specifics on his potential arrival.

However, pictures of the UFC superstar has surfaced on his official Instagram account with a message that said, “With my small Brothers in Nigeria #AfricanTime.”
His manager also posted a picture with Nigeria children after the construction of well on his official Instagram account.
He said, “This photo of my brother @khabib_nurmagomedov Khabib in Africa. Since the man won his title his eyes set to help make the world a better place.
“It inspires me so much, he’s in Nigeria right now digging Wells for young children who do not have clean water.
“And also opening medical centers for people to get proper medical care and this is just the beginning. I’m so grateful to be a part of this journey and humbled.#repost. “
Nigeria is the most populous African country with an estimated population 190.7 million.
According to several reports, 123 million people in the country do not have access to clean water and basic sanitary conditions.
Khabib is still indefinitely suspended from the UFC as revealed by Dana White and is unknown when he will depart the country.
